Yoga & Wellness Retreats

Transforming the WHOLE person

"Finding moments of peace, joy, and connection...one breath at a time."

A note from Annika...

I started down the path of yoga 21 years ago. I became a yoga teacher and it changed my life.

I opened up a Yoga & Wellness Center back then with the goal to create a one stop shop for alternative health, and to help people prevent cancer. In the book The Answer to Cancer: Is Never Giving It A Chance To Start, and there was a whole chapter on yoga. I then felt a calling to create a space that would empower people to take control of their own health, not for the goal to replace conventional medicine, but to compliment it.

Something powerful happens when we intentionally step away from the noise of everyday life and give ourselves the space to simply be.

My approach to creating retreats or any events is rooted in that belief.

I thoughtfully create spaces where people can slow down, feel supported, reconnect with themselves and experience practices that nurture the body, mind and spirit.

Through yoga, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, sound, nourishing food, meaningful connection, time in nature and, just as importantly, time to do nothing at all, each experience is designed to offer a different way of coming back to yourself.

This work is also deeply personal to me.

I have walked through challenging seasons in my own life, and many of the practices I share are the very same ones I continue to turn to myself. They have helped me find steadiness when life felt uncertain, create space when things felt overwhelming, and reconnect with what matters when I felt pulled in too many directions.

These aren't practices I simply teach. They are practices I live.

And they are not mine alone.

Yoga, meditation, mindfulness, breath work and other contemplative practices have supported people around the world for generations.

I love creating approachable, meaningful ways for others to experience these tools and discover what resonates with them.

I love collaborating with other amazing and knowledgeable healers!

I don't believe healing always means fixing something. Sometimes it begins by creating enough space to breathe. To rest. To feel. To connect. To listen inward.

My hope is that every experience I create offers that space...a place where you can set down what you've been carrying for a little while, reconnect with yourself and perhaps leave with a few practices that continue to support you long after the weekend ends.

A space to breathe. A space to reconnect. A space to return to you.
